Om Mani Padme Hung Tibetan Buddhist Prayer Flags
Prayer flags are auspicious flags that contain images of deities, mantras and prayers which is traditionally believed to bring happiness, peace, prosperity, good fortune, health and victory over the obstacles. Prayer flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength and wisdom. Prayers inscribed on prayer flags protect from destructive evils and obstacles toward the flag planter and all sentient beings.
For centuries Tibetans have placed Prayer Flags around their homes, at sacred sites, near monasteries, and on mountain passes, as an offering to the enlightened ones and as a prayer for the benefit of all beings. As these prayers are carried into the wind, the blessings of the Buddha’s teachings are evoked, the auspicious circumstance is created, and obstacles of all kinds are diverted.
This Om Mani Padme Hung Prayer Flags are small flags measuring 10 cm X 8cm and there are 10 flags in a set which are all printed with the mantra of Chenrezig Om Ma Ni Padme Hung. These Prayer Flags are very small and are best suited for small altars or indoors and cars.
