Prajnaparmita Statue: Prajnaparamita is the mother of all Buddhas. She is the female personification of perfect wisdom. The Prajnaparamita Sutras are the essence of Mahayana Buddhism. Once taught by the Historic Buddha Shakyamuni, it is fundamentally a philosophy on the path to Buddhahood. The Prajnaparamita sutras contains 40 written texts which include ten Prajnaparamita (perfections): meditation, wisdom, dedication, charity, morality, discipline, knowledge, patience, courage, right conduct.

This Prajnaparmita Statue was individually handcrafted in Patan, Nepal by master artisans of the Shakya clan who are considered among the best in the world. These craftsmen are the modern heirs to a centuries-old tradition of creating sacred art for use in temples and monasteries. The fine metalworking techniques have been passed down from generation to generation since ancient times.
