Ringa is a ritual cap which is worn by the Buddhist monks or Gurus while performing ritual function or ceremony. Ringa performs an important role in Buddhist or Tibetan culture specially for ritual ceremony since from the beginning. The Ringa is worn by the Buddhist monk for ritual ceremony and also on some cultural dance where the character wears a crown. So Ringa plays important role in Tibetan Buddhist culture.
This Ringa – the Ritual Cap is made from copper plate with gold and silver plated with cotton base to support all the 5 parts together and features the image of 5 Dhyani Buddhas Set and is hand made by the artisans of Kathmandu, Nepal.
